This is how every cultivation story should be told imo. At least if we take the 50 to 100 first chapters. It takes its time to establish the characters and the world. The MC isn't a fleshed out character from the beginning. He learns to distinguish between good and evil throughout his journey. We discover with him that not everything is right in the justice faction and wrong in the dark coalition. In terms of pacing this is a top notch story. The problem I have here is the plot. The MC doesn't have a goal and everything is given to him without any effort really. The author wanted us to know that he is the MC so he will encounter every single big figure in that world and eveyone wants him as a disciple and will teach him something just because. Also we meet maaaaany different characters with potential storylines that could be developed but the author seem to forget about them and focus on something else. Reply · Feb 05, 2023

I really enjoy this story but is by no means perfect, but the pros of this story vastly out way the negatives. the main drawing point for me is watching this innocent mc navigate through the martial world, his interactions with legends and heroes, villains, and grey areas have been interesting, its a pretty standard wuxia template, but it's not too slow and the characters are pretty entertaining, granted not many of them are as flushed out as id like but maybe well see some development there over time. Gets progressively less interesting the farther you get into it. I am actually pretty fond of the art style, everything seems more fluid. Reply · May 01, 2021

Written in the format of a narrarated fairytale with rough art, it's a manhwa that Summarizes (or tells you things that happened, rather than showing them happening) which is a lesser form of storytelling in many ways. In this case, the author just couldn't compress everything he wanted to tell very well so he summarized most of it and word vomited it all out. Reply · Nov 19, 2020

This is another cultivation story but in the vast flow of those type of stories this one stands out. First of all the main character obtain power by an original way (no spoil). Moreover the main character has a good personnality he is not the boring one that spare everyone nor the psycopath that kill without battling an eye. And generaly each characters in the story has particularities. But as the story keep going the plot is becoming quite boring, the story lack some purpose for the main character to reach. Moreover the way to cut the boards is quite chaotic wich can lost the readers. Reply · Nov 10, 2020
